Day to day logistics operation and support of Direct Buying Program and ALDI Sourcing Teams including shipment planning & booking, vendor management, container utilization and logistics system maintenance
Prepares shipping cost calculation to support Direct Buying tendering and ensures correct costing is available in a timely manner
Processing of shipping documents
Responsible for shipment scheduling and planning
Liaison and coordination with freight forwarders, vendors and ALDI national logistics teams
Handling of logistics related inbound/outbound matters
Your Profile
At least Tertiary education required
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience, preferably gained in sourcing/buying offices
Experience with Logistics industry or freight forwarder
Experience with Logistics IT Software solutions
High level of computer literacy: MS Office and Exchange, advance Excel knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team player
Good command of both verbal and written business English as well as fluency in Mandarin essential
Able to work independently & as a team player, self-motivated, responsible, well-organized and willing to learn
Attention to details and good organizational, coordination and planning skills
High level of computer literacy: MS office and Exchange essential
High level of maturity, integrity, trustworthiness
