ALDI Hong Kong is the key operation for the majority of ALDI products made in Asia. In keeping with our commitment to excellence in all areas of business, we aim to ensure that all products are manufactured in a manner which protects the environment and workers’ rights in accordance with applicable local laws.

In all we do, we assume responsibility towards our customers, business partners, employees, the community, and the environment. Our ALDI Sustainability Principles summarise our commitment to society, people and planet. They guide all of us in our day-to-day actions and are a strict requirement for our business partners.

At our business operations, we have introduced measures to ensure compliance in human rights, environmental protection, and risk prevention. We strive to prevent violations, to identify and remedy violations where they have occurred, and to mitigate these risks. ALDI Hong Kong constantly reviews our processes to continue to improve our due diligence processes and refine supplier expectations as we grow.

Our ALDI Business Partner Sustainability Standards constitute an integral part of our supplier contracts. Our aspiration is that all our products are made in a sustainable way and that we consider environmental and social criteria throughout our supply chains – from raw materials to final production. For our suppliers, we are a fair and reliable business partner and together we are committed to improving the living and working conditions throughout the supply chain.
